Maybe you're not ready to surrender that German Luger or that Japanese Samurai sword. Considering what you might have gone through to acquire them, we can hardly blame you. However, one day you may feel that such precious items deserve to be admired publicly for the educational and cultural enrichment of future generations.

If you're not quite ready to surrender those treasures, perhaps you would like to donate them as part of your estate plans. Battleship Cove can provide you with the appropriate language to include in your will, and you shall rest comfortably knowing that your memories will be preserved forever.

LOST & FOUND: The disappearance of a number of fixtures from the BB59 navigation bridge was explained recently, when this anonymous letter arrived with a $100 bill:

...Enclosed are several button identifiers from the bridge of the Massachusetts. As a stupid and selfish 27-year-old man, I stole them as souvenirs while visiting this magnificent vessel ... I have rightfully felt ashamed ever since.

I feel terrible that these ... have been sitting in my desk drawer for the last 15 years instead of being where thousands of visitors could have seen them. Please accept my humble apology for my arrogant and criminal act. I hope the $100 enclosed will help in some small way [to] redeem my sin....

Have you ever "borrowed" an artifact from Battleship Cove? Well, this is your chance to give it back and clear your conscience without legal penalties.

Let everyone share in history; if you have an item or items to return to the museum, please contact the curator today.
