Battleship Cove puts the FUN in fundraising! Far from your typical stuffy fundraisers, the museum's special events combine exciting locations, fine dining, and a brass swing band. Most important, all proceeds support the museum's "preservation for education" mandate.

Whom might you meet at Battleship Cove special events? The names read like a Who's Who list of American leaders in the arts and sciences. Past headliners include:

  • Dom DiMaggio, former Red Sox slugger
  • Walter Cronkite, legendary journalist
  • Sam Waterston (above, at the wheel of a 12-meter yacht), star of NBC's award-winning crime drama, "Law & Order"
  • Cliff Robertson, Academy-Award-winning Hollywood icon
  • General Alexander Haig, Jr., President Reagan's Secretary of State and former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO
  • Jesse Ventura, former MN Governor and Navy SEAL
  • Dr. Robert Ballard, discoverer of Titanic, Bismarck, & PT109
  • Perry King, star of "Rip Tide" and "Melrose Place"
  • Hon. Anthony Principi, former Secretary of Veterans Affairs
  • RADM Rodney Rempt, Superintendent of the US Naval Academy
