JULY
July 10, 2010 - Family Overnight!
Spend the night on a WWII battleship! Sleep in restored Navy bunks, eat meals "chow-line style" in the Officer's Wardroom, and rise and shine to the sound of reveille. Guests will enjoy all-day admission, three delicious meals, and will have the opportunity to participate in shipboard activities. They will also receive a free Overnight Survival Guide filled with fun facts and activities.

July 17, 2010 - SAVE THE DATE! Battleship Cove's Fundraiser "As Time Goes By" 6 pm - 11 pm
Commemorate the 45th Anniversary of the USS Massachusetts' arrival in Fall River at an evening gala with dining & dancing on the battleship's fantail & silent auction. The Guest of Honor will be Joseph Feitelberg, who championed the effort to bring the battleship to Fall River. All proceeds will be used to fund educational and capital projects. SEPTEMBER
September 4 & 5, 2010 - World War II Weekend at Battleship Cove
History comes alive when over 50 World War II Allied and Axis reenactors arrive at Battleship Cove. See an exciting display of equipment, artillery, and vehicles. Talk with veterans and relive the history of that important time. Special programs scheduled throughout the day are FREE with paid admission. A history event for the entire family. Open 9 am - 4:30 pm. Rain or Shine.

September 11, 2010 - Rite of Reflection Ceremony at Battleship Cove

In honor of the ninth anniversary of the nation's most deadly attack, Battleship Cove will conduct a Remembrance Ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial site with a wreath casting followed by a 21-gun salute. (Time TBD) The ceremony is open to the public.

September 19, 2010 - POW/MIA Ceremony
Battleship Cove will host a reflective ceremony in honor of Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Day at 1:00 PM on the deck of the battleship USS MASSACHUSETTS. The Legion's POW/MIA Committee will sponsor the ceremony. The ceremony is open to the public.

October 30, 2010 - Children's Halloween Party at the Fall River Carousel

November 13, 2010 - Princess Party at the Fall River Carousel 1-4 pm
Calling all princesses to the royal court for unlimited rides on the Carousel. Make your own princess jewelry. Enjoy a royal make-over. Dine on delicious snacks and princess punch. $10 per person. Call for reservations now - space limited. 508-678-1100 x 101.
