Youth Classes (ages 9-16)
Youth sailing classes run in two-week periods and are designed to give a basic appreciation of watercraft and sailing safety. Participants are placed according to size, ability, and experience into beginner and intermediate classes. Classes are taught in our fleet of Vanguard Optimist Prams and Cape Cod Mercury keelboats. So whether your child is a beginner or a seasoned returnee, our program will cater to your young sailor’s needs. Cost: $200

MONDAY - THURSDAY, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Session I: June 21 - June 30
Session II: July 5 - July 14
Session III: July 18 - July 28
Session IV: Aug 1 - Aug 11

Sessions run Monday through Thursday.  Sessions I & II will include Friday, June 24 and Friday, July 8.

Adv. Race Team (ages 13-18)
BCCB’s Race Team is customized for students who are serious about racing. Taught solely in Vanguard 420 centerboard boats, the course is designed to provide comprehensive and intensive training in a practice-racing format. Teamwork and sportsmanship are stressed in a supportive learning environment with a coach helping each sailor set his or her individual sailing and racing goals. Interested students should have at least 2 years of the youth program under their belts before they commit to the team. Cost: $425

Youth Sailing Banquet
On August 12, 2011, a youth sailing banquet will be held on board the battleship Massachusetts to congratulate all of our youth program participants. The event will include a cookout, certificate presentation, and slide show.
